The Lapu-Lapu Monument is located at Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City. This monument was built in memory of the brave warrior, Lapu-Lapu, who killed the Portuguese explorer, Ferdinand Magellan. (This monument also stands next to the shrine of Magellan)
